Who we are
The Rubber Planters’ Association of Liberia (RPAL) was founded in 1966 by an Act of the Legislature. It is a key representative organization for rubber growers and processors in the value chain. RPAL’s primary aim is to promote, foster, and protect the rubber planting and processing industry and the interests of rubber planters in Liberia to contribute to the economy’s growth.
Vision
To be the leading organization advocating for the sustainable growth and development of the rubber industry in Liberia, enhancing the livelihoods of rubber producers and contributing to the national economy.

Mission
To support and promote the interests of rubber planters in Liberia through advocacy, capacity building, and facilitating access to resources, markets, and best practices in rubber cultivation and processing.
Objectives
- Advocacy: Representing the interests of rubber planters to government, industry stakeholders, and international bodies.
- Capacity Building: Offering training and resources to enhance the skills and knowledge of rubber growers.
- Market Access: Facilitating connections between rubber producers and processors and coordinating a harmonious relationship.
- Sustainability: Promoting environmentally sustainable practices in rubber cultivation to ensure the long-term viability of the industry.
- Research and Development: Collaborating with research institutions to foster innovation and improve rubber production techniques.
- Advocate for equal access to sexual reproductive health and rights services for women and girls across Liberia.
